Solar Moves is an environmentally friendly alternative to the current boat trips / crossings in Ria Formosa. Our fleet is found only by boats powered only by solar energy, which offers a smooth and quiet ride along the route and also helps in the preservation of the Ria Formosa.

We intend to boost tourism in the Ria Formosa, offering our customers diversified tours, both in the itinerary and in the themes that explore a fauna and flora of the Ria, a local gastronomy, or even a beautiful romantic sunset.

More than providing simple boat trips in the Ria Formosa, Solar Moves was born with the mission of providing a more ecological alternative to the offer that has existed to date. With this company it is possible to explore the Ria Formosa, to know the history and the buildings planted on the riverside, as well as the fauna and flora there, exclusively in boats powered by 100% solar energy.

The options are many, from getting to know Tavira and its fishing villages, or Cacela-Velha and tasting seafood from the estuary and the coast. You can also relax and enjoy a good time on board, take a dip in the sea or stroll through more wild areas with Nature Tours and Birdwatching.

Still available is the “Choose you” tour, where the client can give free rein to his imagination to spend exclusive moments such as tasting gins and wines, seafood or sushi, weddings or meditation tours. All tours are accompanied by juices, seasonal fruit, dried fruits and other delicacies from the region.
