In Cabanas, AL.FAMA Restaurant was born from the desire to bring past and present together around the table.
The name is a playful nod to Alfama, the iconic Lisbon neighbourhood of fado, food and wine, and at the same time a tribute to the fama of the Algarve and to our own alma.

We are a young restaurant with deep roots: we honour the recipes passed down through generations and reinvent them with a modern, creative twist.
The charcoal grill is always lit, bringing out the best in our fresh fish and meat dishes, with highlights such as Maminha com Queijo da Serra, Pernil de Porco Assado com Vinho do Porto and our delicious Tornedó com Molho Pimenta.

We celebrate the fresh seafood of the Ria Formosa, from oysters to clams, and it is also at the stove that our passion comes through, with dishes like Peixe Galo Frito com Xerém de Berbigão, Carabineiro com Risotto, Arroz de Marisco and many, many more.
