These conditions apply to bookings made directly with My Choice Algarve, Unipessoal, Lda., headquartered at Rua de Portugal 16, 8000-281 Faro, with tax identification number 510074928, via website, email or telephone. Bookings made through external platforms or operators are subject to their specific conditions, without prejudice to the My Choice operational rules applicable to the stay.
Confirmation of the booking implies full acceptance of these conditions, the Privacy Policy and the accommodation rules.
1. Booking and Client Responsibility
The client is responsible for providing correct and up-to-date information at the time of booking, including dates, accommodation, number of guests and identification of all occupants.
The booking holder is responsible for all members of the group and for any situation occurring during the stay. Bookings made by persons under the age of 18 are not accepted.
The client must ensure, before travelling, that they hold all necessary documents, including valid identification, visas, authorisations, insurance or any other applicable requirements. My Choice shall not be held responsible for refusal of entry into Portugal or inability to travel due to lack of adequate documentation.
The maximum capacity of the accommodation must always be respected. Only the persons indicated in the booking/check-in process may stay in the accommodation.
2. Payments, Security Deposit and Included Services
To confirm the booking, prepayment may be required, according to the policy applicable at the time of booking. Failure to comply with payment deadlines may result in cancellation of the booking, without entitlement to a refund of amounts already paid, where applicable. Proposals and availability requests sent by email, WhatsApp and telephone are valid for a period of 48 hours.
The security deposit is collected by credit card at check-in and will be released within 14 days after check-out, following verification of the condition of the accommodation. The security deposit may be used to cover damages, losses, unpaid extra services, additional cleaning, additional laundry, loss of keys or other charges caused by the client or their group.
If the security deposit is insufficient to cover the verified damages or losses, My Choice reserves the right to charge the remaining amount to the client.
The booking price includes accommodation and normal consumption of water, electricity and gas, unless otherwise stated. Additional services are not included, such as extra cleaning, cots, upgrades, personal laundry, personal hygiene products or other services requested by the client.
3. Cancellations, Amendments and Complaints
Cancellation or amendment requests must be made in writing to booking@mychoice.pt.
Cancellation, refund or amendment conditions depend on the policy associated with the confirmed booking. Services not used are non-refundable.
Any anomaly, equipment failure, damage or situation affecting the stay must be reported immediately to My Choice during the stay, so that it can be assessed and, whenever possible, resolved.
Complaints submitted only after check-out will not be accepted when the situation was not reported during the stay.
4. Benefits, Promotions and Discounts
Promotions, discounts and promotional codes may be made available, subject to availability, specific conditions and advance payment.
My Choice reserves the right to cancel any benefits, promotions and/or discounts, or to reject a promotional code, when the total amount already used exceeds a defined financial limit, or in cases of fraudulent use, namely by someone who is not the holder or beneficiary.
5. Check-in, Check-out and Access to the Accommodation
Check-in is from 4:00 p.m. and check-out must take place by 11:00 a.m., unless otherwise agreed in writing in advance.
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional costs.
The client is responsible for the proper use of the keys, cards, remote controls or access codes provided. Loss, damage or failure to return keys/cards/remote controls will result in additional costs, as will unnecessary call-outs due to not having the keys to access the property because they were forgotten inside the accommodation or lost. The cost of these call-outs will be €40.00. These costs may be deducted from the security deposit.
At the end of the stay, the client must leave the accommodation free of people and personal belongings, handing over or leaving the keys in the place indicated by My Choice.
